I have a passion for helping young organizations grow through brand development, performance marketing, and creative direction. I enjoy the footslogging journey of startups, and building things that I believe should exist in the world. Currently, I’m the Director of Growth at Branch, a furniture startup tackling the new world of work. Previously, I was at SineWave Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm in Silicon Valley. I also worked on fun projects with renowned economist Justin Wolfers for 3+ years.
Originally born and raised in California, I now live in New York.

In 2017, I started a weekly tech and economics newsletter, Torin’s Newsletter, that published every Thursday for nearly four years. It counted many prominent investors and personalities as readers. At the end of 2020, I decided to wind it down. I hope to return to public writing soon.
